After a bit of trial and error it worked. I'll try to post a screen shot later of what I changed in case it is useful for others. Thank you for your help, much appreciated.

Hello, thank you for responding. Is your message "...wrangle to the fore output..." an autocorrect misspelling of what you mean. If not, I do not understand what you mean by "fore". The Solver Network is in the below image. The closest I can find to what I think you are writing about is the "For..Each" loop. Can you please elaborate for me? Thank you

I don't know about subnets, but if your intention is to create a HDA then you can set inputs/outputs by editing type info (I.e.where parameters are maintained).

Hello
Context: SOP FLIP. I am able to set a fixed viscosity at say 2000
Issue: I would like to vary the viscosity with the age of particle
What I have tried: adding an Attribute Wrangle node between the source object and the fourth input to the flipsource (Flip Boundary). I have checked and unchecked the "Varying Viscosity" check box in the FLIP Container. In the attribute wrangle I have: f@viscosity = 2000.0+(100.0*f@age);
When I view the viscosity attribute in the geometry
Any help is welcome.

It was as simple as Heightfield_project followed by Heightfield_remap and some fiddling with dimensions (I'm working at millimetre scale vs Heightfield which works at metre scale.

Project into a heightfield?
I think you might be on to something with Heightfields - I'm experimenting with Heightfield_project and Heightfield_remap. Need to play a bit.

ZBrush has Bas Relief capability; converts a 3d model into a bas relief. See: . [youtu.be].
I feel that this must be achievable in Houdini and already done but I can not find any references to anyone achieving this in Houdini.
Has anyone achieved Bas Relief and if yes, how?
If not, anyone got any thoughts on how it might be achieved?
Cheers

Hello, did you get this fixed? I have H14 installed and used it without a problem until today when I got the same problem as you. It is down to the permission setting of the folder houdini14.0 (inside <user>/documents). it is now set to readonly. I could not change it from readonly (i tried cmdline as administrator etc). Only way around this is to select houdini indi in the programme app list, right click and run as administrator. It is probably as security tool I have running.
good luck
Andy
